How to Raise a Complaint
Last updated: October 2026
We want every homeowner who contacts Causeoccupied Pest Control to be treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, tell us. This page shows how to file a complaint and what happens after. It is a general template and is not legal advice.
Topics We Accept
You can contact us about:
- Your experience calling or contacting Causeoccupied Pest Control
- How your personal information was handled
- Anything on this site that looks unclear or wrong
- The conduct of a provider we connected you with
If the Issue Is With a Provider
Providers in our network are independent businesses. They are responsible for their own estimates, prices, products, work and customer service. If there is a problem with work done at your home, do this first:
1. Raise it with the provider directly. 2. Keep a written record of what you said and what they answered.
Please still tell us. Feedback about providers helps keep our network honest. Providers who repeatedly fall short of our expectations may be removed. Note that Causeoccupied Pest Control cannot settle contract disputes, issue refunds for a provider's work or make decisions for a provider.
If your worry is about how a pesticide was applied, you may also contact the agency that regulates pest control in Florida.
Filing Your Complaint
Email contact@causeoccupied.garden and include:
- Your name and how to reach you
- The date you contacted us or the provider
- The phone number you called or the form you used, if you remember
- The provider's name, if you know it
- A clear account of what happened and what outcome you want from us
After You Send It
Here is what to expect:
1. We acknowledge your complaint by email, usually within a few business days. 2. We look into what happened. This may include contacting the provider. 3. We reply with what we found and any steps we are taking.
Still Unhappy?
If our answer does not satisfy you, reply and ask us to review it again. You may also contact your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or your local Better Business Bureau.
